Coldcard
Coldcard Q
Coldcard with a QR scanner, qwerty keyboard and battery power
Our review
The Q is Coldcard's flagship and is built specifically to make air-gapped signing easier. With a built-in QR scanner you can follow a standard like BBQr or URv2 and shuttle PSBT data without microSD or USB. AAA battery power means the device can sign a complete multisig setup without ever touching a power source that also carries data. For serious Bitcoin hodlers it is the most flexible cold storage on the market.
Best for: The user who wants fully air-gapped signing over QR codes
Pros
- QR scanner makes air-gap practical without microSD
- Full qwerty keyboard, perfect for long passphrases
