Hw-wallet.com is a guide to hardware wallets, originally founded in 2014 and relaunched in 2026 with an updated product range, current security standards and a focus on European buyers.

How we make money

When you click a "Buy" link and complete a purchase at the manufacturer, we receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We accept commission from every manufacturer we review, so we have no financial reason to favour one over another.

Our ranking is based on actual product properties: price, certification, open source status, ease of use and how long the manufacturer has been in business. We do not offer paid placements, and we do not accept free hardware in exchange for positive coverage.

Fact-checking and sources

Prices are confirmed against the manufacturer's own webshop, last verified 26 April 2026. Security certifications (CC EAL5+, EAL6+) are confirmed against the Common Criteria portal and the manufacturer's own technical documentation.
